In December 2023, the Karunamaya Foundation Nepal, in partnership with Associacion DARE, the Rotaract Club of Kathmandu Midtown, the Rotary Club of Kathmandu Midtown, and Sherchan Subba Chelies, completed the construction of Chepang Pragatishil Aashraya at Shree Prajawasti Basic School in Ward No. 1 of Gandaki Rural Municipality, Makaising, Gorkha. The project aims to meet the diverse needs of children, the school, and the local community by providing a secure and accessible space for various programs and activities.
The main goal of Karunamaya foundation is to develop education in rural communities in Nepal. After the devastating earthquake that struck Nepal on April 2015, we decided to bring our help providing infrastructure to public schools and training to their teachers.
