We support children and youths, with love and kindness, as our name suggests, in becoming independent and capable youths contributing towards the socio-economic development of the nation and the world by improving their access to formal and/or vocational education and personal development.
In the process, we hope to provide critical infrastructure through construction of schools in remote villages, capacity building of school management by providing them additional academic resources as well as providing essential training to school management and teachers.
We understand that not every child can excel academically while they might have a talent in other areas such as music, sports, etc.
We find it extremely important "Possibilities in life are not merely limited by the ability of a child to excel academically, though minimum levels of education need to be ensured".

Volunteering at Makaising School has been a very enriching experience. I would repeat without a doubt
Volunteering in Makaising has been a wonderful experience that has made me grow personally and professionally: an approach to the most basic and important values of life through contact with Nepalese people (humility, generosity, happiness ...); a connection with vocations and skills development
Participating with the Karunamaya Foundation Nepal in the project that is taking place in Makaising has been one of the most incredible experiences I have ever lived. I keep a bit of Nepal in my heart
After the earthquake, the infrastructure of this school was destroyed but due to the continued support of different organizations including the Karunamaya Foundation, this school has developed rapidly. Till now they have helped a lot and I am very happy to see this progress that has happened because of KFN Thank you
I am surprised by seeing this grand Annual day celebration of Shree Prajabasti Basic School, this is far better than we imagined. I want to thank organizations like KFN and Rotary because all this is possible with their support only
